Dear PAQ Swimmers and Families,
As we end another fantastic session, we are delighted to invite all swimmers to the Peel Aquatic Club (PAQ) End-of-Session Club Championships. This event promises to be filled with excitement, camaraderie, and celebrating our swimmers' achievements.
Date: 19th of April Time: Setup and warm up from 1730 and racing from 1800 Location: MARC
At the championships, swimmers of all abilities and ages are welcome to participate in thrilling races tailored to their skill levels. Here's what you can expect:
- Dolphins: Swim 25 meters of Breaststroke, Backstroke, and Freestyle.
- Juniors: Take on the challenge of 50 meters of Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle, as well as the 200 IM.
- Seniors: Dive into 100 meters of each stroke (Breast, Back, Butterfly, and Freestyle) and the 200 IM.
It's a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to showcase their talents, set new personal bests, and support their teammates.
In addition to the championships, we will hold a special general meeting during the event. This meeting will ratify two new life members, recognizing their outstanding contributions to our club. Your presence and support at this meeting are highly appreciated.
Following the meeting, we invite everyone to a bring-your-own-plate catch-up in the club room. It's a chance to relax, enjoy some refreshments, and celebrate the achievements of our swimmers and the contributions of our newest life members.
Please mark your calendars and save the date for this exciting day of swimming, recognition, and camaraderie. Further details regarding registration, event schedule, and the extraordinary general meeting will be provided closer to the date.
This is also a great opportunity to welcome Albert, our new coach, to the club!
